Superlative RM, an ACA International member company based in Phoenix, Arizona, recently announced the successful completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II examination.
Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC 2 Type II focuses on the criteria of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. Unlike Type I, which evaluates the design of controls at a specific point in time, Type II goes further by examining the operational effectiveness of these controls over a specified period.
Successfully completing a SOC 2 Type II examination indicates that Superlative RM has implemented and sustained effective security measures and processes, providing assurance to clients and stakeholders that their sensitive information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity. This examination is particularly crucial, as it demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding its clients’ data in a continuously evolving digital landscape.
“Completing our SOC 2 Type II examination underscores our unwavering commitment to the highest standards of security, confidentiality, and operational integrity,” said Superlative RM CEO Jerry Terrill. “This achievement not only solidifies our dedication to protecting the trust our clients place in us, but also signifies our proactive approach to meeting and exceeding industry benchmarks.”
