As we gear up for the 2024 Washington Insights Fly-In and continue our overall advocacy efforts, ACA International has developed new resources to support members who are interested in getting involved.
To start, we’ve put together a video overview of legislative meetings at the state or federal level, including the basics of scheduling a meeting and what to talk about.
In the presentation, ACA Director of Public Affairs Katy Zillmer reviews what legislators, and their staff, want to hear about from industry representatives who are also their constituents. You’ll learn how to explain the ways your business is impacted by laws and regulations.
In additional training, ACA will review specific issues to discuss and other ways to advocate with legislators.
You can find these materials on our Advocacy Resource Center.
