ConServe, an ACA International member company based in Rochester, New York, donated its March proceeds from ConServe Cares to Foodlink, a nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and building healthier communities by addressing the symptoms and root causes of food insecurity.
Conserve Cares allows both employees and the organization to support a wide range of community investment efforts, engaging and inspiring employees while also reinforcing ConServe’s dedication to community service.
Giving back to their communities is a fundamental aspect of ConServe’s mission statement.
“Foodlink is grateful to be a recipient of the ConServe Cares program this year,” a representative from Foodlink said. “Funding from corporate partners like ConServe is critical to our ability to address food insecurity, helping support the cost of trucks, staffing, and of course the food that makes its way to dinner tables across the region. We can’t do this work alone—thank you for investing in our mission!”
“Our mission statement emphasizes the significance of contributing to their communities, including making them healthier,” said George Huyler, vice president of human resources at ConServe. “We are proud of our employees for consistently stepping up to give back, and we are grateful to Foodlink for the vital services they provide every day.”
