Weak passwords, malicious links and outdated software are just three of the many ways criminals can compromise your system and gain access to your data. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Because cyber threats are evolving at lightning speed, you need a way to tap into the collective expertise of your peers. What threat trends are others in the industry seeing, and what insights do they have about protecting consumer and client data?
That’s where ACA’s Cybersecurity Collective can help. By joining this dynamic community, you’ll gain access to a network of peers and security experts who are tackling the same challenges you face. Don’t let your organization become the next statistic!
The Cybersecurity Collective is an exclusive resource of ACA membership. It provides a private forum for you to ask (and answer!) questions about cybersecurity and how to protect your business. When you join, you’ll get access to an invite-only LinkedIn group, quarterly Zoom webinars on burning cybersecurity topics, and more.
“In talking to so many ACA members and owners, they consistently tell me cybersecurity threats are the #1 thing that keeps them up at night,” said ACA CEO Scott Purcell. “ACA’s creation of the Cybersecurity Collective is one more step in creating value for members, so those shouldering the responsibility of protecting your data can have a place to talk about new threats, and new mitigation strategies, to keep those threats at bay.”
Who Should Participate?
This group is for Qualified Individuals as defined by the Safeguards Rule and ACA members in a cybersecurity/IT or management role. While designed for ACA members, nonmember security experts that work directly with ACA member companies can also participate.
What Will I Get Out of the Collective?
- Connections: You’ll be connected to a group of cybersecurity enthusiasts and professionals who are eager to share insights and offer guidance. Whether you’re a seasoned expert or just dipping your toes into the world of digital security, this is the perfect opportunity to learn, share and grow together. The Cybersecurity Collective is meant to be a free resource to augment your cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance management system.
- Access to a Private LinkedIn Group: Do you have burning questions about cybersecurity trends, best practices, or emerging threats? Don’t hesitate to post them in our private LinkedIn group! This group will have free-flowing input, and all Cybersecurity Collective members can participate. We may have a different discussion topic each week, which will be especially helpful when news breaks on data breaches (such as the recent United Healthcare cyber-attack). You’ll also get insights on new mitigation strategies to reduce your risks.
- Quarterly Webinars: We will host an interactive cybersecurity webinar series to discuss the latest in IT and security. Security experts from TPx, ACA’s IT Alliance partner, will host these webinars to explore and explain critical cybersecurity topics. We’ll also have special guests! The first Zoom webinar will be held in September. Stay tuned for more details.
