Our Voice Has More Impact When You Join Us on Capitol Hill
Be at the center of the action and latest news as we engage with regulators and key lawmakers face-to-face. Activity in Washington, D.C., stands to have a major impact on our ability to operate and provide employment. We look forward to returning to Capitol Hill with you!
Critical Issues You’ll Hear About:
Come join ACA and its members in advocating on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulatory processes, including the pending proposed rule to remove medical bills from credit reports and update definitions of credit reporting agencies and data brokers in the Fair Credit Reporting Act; the possible impacts of the decision from the U.S. Supreme Court on the CFPB’s funding structure expected in late spring or early summer; and seeking clarity on the bureau’s UDAAP enforcement actions and authority, recently covered in legislation sponsored by U.S. Rep. Andy Barr.
Additional issues slated for discussion at the event include a proposed rule from the U.S. Department of Labor on overtime salary thresholds, ongoing call blocking and labeling rules from the Federal Communications Commission following the TRACED Act, and new proposals on text blocking. ACA will highlight continued advocacy to ensure that unfair and unscrupulous blocking does not impact legitimate calls and texts.
Hill Visits
Hill visits will be scheduled on your behalf if you register by April 15. You’ll meet with your elected officials in groups with other ACA members from your state. ACA’s advocacy team will provide materials and talking points to help you make the most of these important meetings.

Supporting Sponsor
SomosGov currently administers the Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) pursuant to an FCC awarded contract. The RND is part of the FCC’s approach to addressing the problem of unwanted calls/texts. These calls/texts subject callers to liability under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). In the Reassigned Numbers Order, the FCC established a single, comprehensive database of disconnected telephone numbers. By querying the RND, callers can determine whether a telephone number has been permanently disconnected and easily verify if consent is still valid for purposes of making lawful calls and texts; thereby potentially avoiding costly and time-consuming litigation.

Updated December 5, 2024
A safe and comfortable experience at ACA International’s (“ACA”) Washington Insights Fly-In (“Event”) is a top priority for ACA as we plan for your arrival in Louisville. The venue we are using is the Royal Sonesta Washington, DC Capitol Hill (“Hotel”). We have prepared these COVID-19 Safety Protocols with the health, safety and enjoyment of attendees in mind.
These safety protocols are based on local, state and federal recommendations and mandates. However, given the evolving nature of the pandemic and changing local, state and national guidelines and requirements, safety protocols will naturally be fluid. ACA reserves the right to modify or update these safety protocols at any time so that they are appropriately tailored to the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, its attendant health and safety risks, and national, state, and local requirements and guidelines, during the dates of the event.
Please check back periodically so you are aware of the safety protocols you will be expected to follow while attending the event.
By registering for and/or attending the Event, you and anyone travelling with you agree to follow the safety protocols set in place by ACA, Venues, District of Columbia and the CDC, including those stated herein and onsite at the event. ACA and Hotel reserve the right to ask any attendee or guest to leave the event and/or Hotel premises at any time in the event of a suspected COVID-19 infection, exposure or symptoms.
ONSITE
Masks
- Mask protocol will follow District of Columbia and CDC guidance.
- Please bring your own masks if you elect to wear one. ACA will have disposable masks available if you need them.
Self-Screening and Personal Accountability Commitment
Attendees’ commitment to act responsibly with respect to their own health and the health of others at the Event will be critical to the success of the Event. In that regard, ACA expects all attendees and their guests to conduct daily self-screenings and to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. Please review the CDC list of symptoms and CDC Quarantine & Isolation protocols before attending the Event.
If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, or are exposed to someone who has COVID-19 symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19, during the Event, we ask that you please promptly notify an ACA staff member and excuse yourself from event activities. You may want to reference the CDC Self-Testing At Home or Anywhere article at that time to obtain the CDC’s guidelines on staying away from others, testing and medical attention. ACA and Venues staff will work with you to determine whether and when it may be appropriate for you to return to event activities.
